How-to: Reset IE browser settings

When nothing works anymore in Internet Explorer, reset it with the following steps:

  1. Press the Windows+R shortcut and enter the following command (watch out for upper- and lower case!):rundll32 inetcpl.cpl ResetIEtoDefaults
  2. Click OK, then Reset.
  3. Now reboot Windows.
