Curated Dashlane Twitter Alert

Twitter bug exposed plaintext passwords. Time to change your password.
What happened? According to multiple sources, a technical glitch at Twitter left 330 million user passwords exposed in plaintext in an internal file. Twitter stresses that this was not a breach, and there is no evidence of misuse; rather, a bug in their system meant that someone could have accessed those passwords.

I use Twitter. What should I do? Twitter is advising that all users update their Twitter password and any account that shares it. Finding and updating reused passwords don’t have to be painful. Browse reused passwords and change them in a snap in Dashlane’s Security Dashboard. Learn more on our blog.
